On February 11, China Postal Express & Logistics Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Airlines held a signing ceremony of a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. Wen Shaoqi, vice president of China Post Group Corporation Limited, and executives from China Postal Express & Logistics and Xiamen Airlines witnessed the signing ceremony.

Fully leveraging their advantages in resources, market, technology and other aspects, China Postal Express & Logistics and Xiamen Airlines will further expand cooperation in fields such as aviation capacity, aircraft disposal, product portfolios, digital empowerment, aircraft maintenance, pilot training and aviation material support, and enhance their strategic coordination and cooperation value, so as to boost complementation and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

At the signing ceremony, China Postal Express & Logistics also signed an agreement of purchasing nine aircraft from Xiamen Airlines to further expand its air fleet and support the development of its express service. With these aircraft being put into operation, China Post will increase flights on its air routes and strengthen its independent air transport capacity in Belt and Road countries and Southeast Asian countries of RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership). It will accelerate the construction of an independent and controllable international express and logistics system, open up international logistics channels, and enhance its comprehensive competitiveness in the international express and logistics market.
