On February 18, the first China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Annual Meeting was held in Yulin, Shaanxi province. At the opening ceremony, China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association and the Postal Savings Bank of China (hereinafter referred to as PSBC) jointly released a financial support project for 100 experience facility projects, 1000 related enterprises and 10000 inheritors of China’s intangible cultural heritage (ICH).

In order to strengthen financial support for the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association and PSBC jointly launched the financial support project for ICH under the guidance of the Department of Industrial Development and the Department of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The project focuses on supporting ICH inheritors and workshops (studios), related enterprises, and inheritance experience facility projects, and aims to boost ICH protection and inheritance with increased financial support and comprehensive financial services .

China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association and PSBC will establish a fast service channel. After related ICH entities submit their applications online, China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association, PSBC and experts in relevant fields will select the supported projects from the application list in accordance with the principles of protecting intangible cultural heritage and taking both economic returns and social benefit into account, and provide them with exclusive loan products and comprehensive financial services, so as to make positive contributions to the protection, inheritance and development of China’s intangible cultural heritage.
