A donation ceremony was held at the China National Post and Postage Stamp Museum on March 29, at which Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) donated AED devices, legacy of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, to the museum. Present at the ceremony were officials from the medical aid and epidemic prevention working group of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the Secretariat of RCSC Winter Olympics Project, the Marketing Department of China Post Group Corporation Limited and China Postal Culture and History Center (also known as China National Post and Postage Stamp Museum).
The Games Service Department of the Beijing Organizing Committee joined hands with the Business Development Center of RCSC to donate and deliver two sets of AEDs (automated external defibrillator) to China Postal Culture and History Center. The latter accepted the donations and issued a donation certificate.
This donation is an important measure to implement the philosophy of sustainability of the legacy of the Winter Games, promote the spirits of the Red Cross and the Beijing Winter Olympics, and reinforce the museum's rescue capacity to respond to emergencies. It will help the museum further improve its public service level and promote the construction of the public emergency rescue system, so as to ensure the health and safety of the audience.
