China Post Group and Anhui provincial government sign strategic cooperation framework agreement
|China Post|2023-04-12

On the morning of April 11, China Post Group Corporation Limited (China Post Group) and the Anhui provincial government signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Hefei. Secretary Han Jun of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee, Governor Wang Qingxian of Anhui province and Chairman Liu Aili of China Post Group witnessed the signing ceremony. Vice Governor Shan Xiangqian of Anhui province and Vice President Kang Ning of China Post Group signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

Han Jun and Wang Qingxian held a working-level talk with Liu Aili and his entourage prior to the signing ceremony. Han Jun hopes that both sides will, starting with this agreement, give full play to their respective strengths, identify the entry points for further cooperation, and deepen specific cooperation in rural revitalization, cold-chain distribution, financial services and logistics support for strategic emerging industries, so as to ensure tangible results. Anhui provincial government will continue to optimize its business environment, and provide high-quality and efficient service to support the development of China Post in Anhui, Han Jun said.

Liu Aili introduced the basic situation of China Post in terms of its reform and development in recent years, especially its achievements in serving rural revitalization. Focusing on combatting the three difficulties in financing, sales and logistics in rural areas, China Post has been leveraging its innate resource advantages in the integrated flow of commodity, logistics, capital and information as well as the advantages of its network that covers all townships and administrative villages, and providing a package of comprehensive service solutions that integrate rural e-commerce, inclusive finance, and delivery and logistics. It has established a service system targeted at villages, farmers’ cooperatives, family farms, leading crop and animal farmers, agricultural enterprises, and rural stores, and gradually built a collaborative service ecosystem which not only brings benefits to farmers and consumers, but also expands China Post’s customer base and builds up the government’s popularity and reputation, thereby laying a solid foundation for promoting rural revitalization and boosting the modernization of agriculture and rural areas. He hopes that, with this agreement, the Anhui provincial Party committee and Anhui provincial government will further support China Post in its efforts to serve the rural revitalization strategy and the construction of the e-commerce system in Anhui, and build a comprehensive postal convenience service platform. He expects that they will assist China Post in expanding the scale of mail transportation through passenger buses and strengthening the construction of the three-tier logistics system at the county, township and village levels, thereby improving express delivery service in rural areas and accessibility to public services. Liu Aili also hopes that they will support China Post in its efforts to construct cold chain storage systems for agricultural products, and promote the “Internet Plus” pilot project launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs for bringing agricultural products to urban consumers, thereby unblocking the logistics channels for featured products such as Chinese medicine and tea.

According to the agreement, both parties will strengthen cooperation in areas such as postal finance, rural revitalization, postal infrastructure construction, public services, and cultural industry.
