On May 10, Shandong Postal Branch held a product launch for Shandong-USA express air route in Jiaozhou, Qingdao, which marks that the express air route run by Shandong Postal Branch is officially put into operation.

The just opened Shandong-USA express air route service adopts a mode of fulfilling customs clearance through commercial channels, transportation through dedicated air routes, and last-mile distribution by local express companies in the USA. Therefore, it only takes five to eight working days for the goods to be delivered, nearly five days less than conventional products. This route, being a new bridge for cross-border logistics from Qingdao to the United States, can provide direct air logistics services to North America for enterprises in Qingdao as well as within and around Shandong province.

Since the beginning of this year, Shandong Postal Branch has proposed to build Qingdao Port into a national postal port, and is constantly upgrading the construction of direct sea and air transportation channels from Qingdao to the world. Guided by policies and driven by increasing growth of foreign trade, Shandong Postal Branch is committed to building an international logistics channel for "buying globally, selling globally", to ensure the smooth operation of international express logistics, thus injecting new momentum into the growth of Shandong's foreign trade.
