At 23:05 May 20, China Postal Airlines flight CF9168 carrying a full load of Maoming lychees took off from Zhanjiang Wuchuan Airport, and arrived at Beijing Daxing International Airport at 4:15 the next morning after a stopover in Guangzhou (where its flight number changed to CF9019). This marks the opening of the Zhanjiang-Beijing dedicated line for EMS fresh delivery of lychees to ensure that the Maoming lychees exclusively for Beijing can be rushed fresh to the spring fruit market there. This dedicated line is the second one for lychees, following the Haikou-Nanjing one opened on May 15, and the third one launched by China Postal Airlines for summer EMS fresh delivery in 2023.

Opening this dedicated line is the first time for China Postal Airlines to operate at Zhanjiang Wuchuan Airport. To ensure the smooth operation of the route, the Guangzhou office of China Postal Airlines dispatched personnel to Wuchuan Airport in advance, and worked with Maoming Postal Branch to formulate a mail transfer and handover process that can ensure the seamless connection between landside and airside operations. At the same time, they coordinated with the departments of ground support and security check of the airport to finalize the acceptance and transport requirements for lychees and the relevant flight support process, so as to ensure a successful debut flight.
