On May 23, Vice President Kang Ning of China Post Group Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as China Post) met with Director Ms. Lau Wai Meng and Vice Director Ms. Lau Lan Waa of Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (hereinafter referred to as CTT) as well as their entourage in Beijing. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on providing high-quality services for the national strategic plans for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and on strengthening cooperation in philatelic service.

Kang Ning welcomed Ms. Lau Wai Meng and her entourage on behalf of China Post, and introduced China Post’s reform and development. He expressed his thanks to CTT for their full cooperation and close coordination with China Post during the epidemic prevention and control period in establishing a safe and convenient "green passage" to effectively ensure both the smooth flow of mail in the Greater Bay Area and the normal operation of postal routes between the Chinese mainland and Macao. As the construction of the Greater Bay Area is further advanced, the two sides will usher in broader development prospect, Kang Ning said. In terms of their postal service cooperation to support the Greater Bay Area, he hopes that the two sides can further enhance the service capacity of the port cluster in the Greater Bay Area and the competitiveness of the inbound e-EMS service, and facilitate China Post Hong Kong Limited to reinforce cooperation with CTT in the fields of express and logistics as well as cultural IP. In terms of philatelic service, the two sides will adhere to customer-centered and market-oriented principles, strengthen joint research on the selection of stamp themes, joint development and issuance of philatelic products, and promote cooperation in selling philatelic products and holding philatelic cultural activities, according to Kang Ning.

Ms. Lau Wai Meng spoke highly of the current development of China Post and extended her gratitude to China Post for its long-term strong support for CTT. She expects that the two sides will strengthen coordination, and enhance communication with port customs, so as to improve the efficiency of e-EMS service and promote the recovery of its volume. CTT also looks forward to continuing cooperation with China Post in jointly issuing stamps and conducting other services, thus achieving mutual benefit, mutual complementarity and win-win cooperation.
