PSBC wins highest award at China RPA+AI Developer Competition

The Postal Savings Bank of China (hereinafter referred to as PSBC) won the highest award with a case it had entered at the 3rd China RPA+AI Developer Competition jointly hosted by “RPA China” and the Global AI Product & Application Expo, and held in Suzhou, Jiangsu province.

China RPA+AI Developer Competition is a national professional competition in the field of RPA (robotic process automation) and AI (artificial intelligence). The 3rd competition gathered 326 teams, a total of 2,183 developers entered from enterprises and universities in various industries and fields. The Software R&D Center of PSBC and PSBC Suzhou Branch jointly organized a team to participate in the competition, in which their case “Intelligent Warrant Management Robot” stood out and won the special prize. Besides, the case was also rated as "Excellent Case of RPA Industry Application in Suzhou" by Suzhou Artificial Intelligence Association.

The case “Intelligent Warrant Management Robot” presents that application of innovative RPA technology to intelligent warrant management can improve customer experience effectively while reducing the burden and increasing efficiency of grassroots bank employees. In this case, RPA technology is used to realize automatic processing of warrant images and automated information extraction, and therefore greatly improve processing efficiency and information accuracy. At the same time, it is used to enable real-time information update, and effectively reduce the transaction time for customers. In the future, the case will also be used to enable remote signing of mortgage business to further improve customer experience.

This case innovatively adopts the dual-platform architecture of technologies sophisticated both at home and abroad. It takes into account the convenience and safety of operation, and therefore has strong reusability. In the dual-platform architecture, bank tellers can operate the visual programming interface of the platform, which is easy to handle, while back office technical personnel can carry out back-end development of business processes and components with the help of the platform’s localized, full-stack independent and controllable intelligent process automation capacity, which makes it stable and secure.
