On September 19, China Post and Alibaba Cloud jointly released AIGC (artificial intelligence generated content) personalized stamps featuring Hangzhou landmarks and AIGC personalized smart mailbox. The creative products were jointly launched by Hangzhou Postal Branch and Alibaba Cloud, whose teams combined Alibaba Cloud’s AI image generation model, Tongyi Wanxiang, with postal culture, and showcased a unique “smart Asian Games” through the cutting-edge technology of the model.

There are a total of six personalized stamps in this set, presenting six landmark images of Hangzhou. The images are created by combining virtuality and reality, with the left part being the real image of each landmark, and the right part a virtual one generated by the Tongyi Wanxiang model. With rich colors and a strong visual impact, the overall picture of the stamps shows that the city of Hangzhou is gathering intelligence, spectacular and vitality.

Apart from the personalized stamps, China Post and Alibaba Cloud also jointly developed the first Asian Games AIGC personalized smart mailbox. This mailbox is embedded with the text-to-image generation technology of Tongyi Wanxiang, allowing users to generate creative postcards interactively, experience China’s intelligence technology in person and cherish an exceptional memory of the smart Asian Games. At the release ceremony, representatives from the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee, Hangzhou Postal Branch and Alibaba Cloud made the first AIGC personalized postcard together, had it franked and dropped into the mailbox. This postcard will then be sent to Hangzhou Asian Games Museum and collected as the only memento of this event.
