Recently, PSBC Wealth Management won two industrial awards for its ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) practices. At the 2023 Environmental, Social and Governance Exchange Conference for Listed Companies hosted by Securities Daily, PSBC Wealth Management was awarded the ESG Pioneer for its ESG financial practice. At the “ESG Practices in China” seminar co-sponsored by Xinhuanet, China Enterprise Reform and Development Society, and China ESG Institute of Capital University of Economics and Business, PSBC Wealth Management had its ESG financial innovation case selected as one of the 2023 Excellent Cases of Corporate ESG Green Finance.

In recent years, PSBC Wealth Management has continuously explored and practiced ESG investing from investment research, product launch, asset allocation and other aspects, to promote the innovation and development of green finance. Since the innovative release of the “STOXX PSBC China A ESG Index” in 2022, an index system integrating international standards with local characteristics of China, PSBC Wealth Management has actively engaged in the research, development and innovation of ESG-themed products, and helped customers increase the upward income elasticity through management strategies matching economic cycles and valuation. In terms of responsible investment, PSBC Wealth Management has strengthened the risk management of green finance, widely invested in new energy, ecological and environmental protection, low-carbon transformation and other green finance-related sub-industries and niche markets through a variety of investment methods, and steadily increased the proportion of investment in the equity assets related to green bonds and green finance, thereby implementing its philosophy of ESG investing with concrete actions.
