The 14th National People’s Congress (NPC) and the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) have opened their second session in Beijing. Two members of the CPPCC National Committee and six deputies to the NPC from China Post Group will attend this grand event.

The two members of the CPPCC National Committee are Liu Aili, chairman of China Post Group, and Ma Xulin, an outside director of China Post Group.

The six deputies to the NPC are Guo Honggang, a rural mail carrier of Hebei Xingtai Postal Branch; Zhao Mingzhi, a mail carrier of Dalian Zhongshan parcel, express and logistics business unit of Liaoning Postal Branch; Yin Yong, the postmaster of Guiren Post Office in Jiangsu Sihong Postal Branch; Xie Jian, a postal clerk and mail carrier of Wailingding Post Office in Zhuhai Postal Branch, Guangdong province; Mo Fuyuan, a postman at the mail processing center of Guizhou Longli Postal Branch; Zhao Mingcui, a rural mail carrier of Shaanxi Shiquan Postal Branch.

Shouldering the expectations and trust of the people as well as the noble mission of fulfilling their duties, the eight representatives of China Post, with a strong sense of political responsibility and historical mission, will exercise their rights in accordance with the laws, actively make suggestions, and contribute their wisdom and strength to building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects and advancing Chinese modernization.
