On April 25, President Zheng Guoyu of China Post Group Corporation Limited met with President Hakan Gülten of T.C. The two parties had in-depth exchanges and discussion on strengthening cooperation, especially in the field of cross-border e-commerce, and providing sound cross-border logistics service.

Zheng Guoyu extended a warm welcome to Hakan Gülten and his entourage, and introduced the business development of China Post in recent years. He said, in recent years, the growth of economy, trade and cross-border e-commerce in China and Türkiye has created room for the development of express and logistics, and also laid a solid foundation for the in-depth cooperation of the two Posts and the development of their competitive cross-border logistics channels. He hopes that the two sides will actively respond to market demands and sign a package of bilateral agreements as soon as possible, so as to improve the time limit and service quality in the transportation process and overseas section, and promote cooperation in commercial products. Meanwhile, both sides may strengthen cooperation in the offline service of e-commerce products, establishment of overseas warehousing and air channel transit, so as to create cross-border logistics products with competitive price, time limit and service, and provide good cross-border logistics service experience for their clients.

Hakan Gülten highly praised the achievements China Post has made in its reform and development in recent years, and expressed his gratitude to China Post for the long-term support for PTT. He introduced the development of PTT, especially its practice in developing the global e-commerce market. China has a vast consumer market with strong purchasing power, he stated. And he hopes that, seizing the opportunity of the continuously strengthened trade and investment between the two countries in recent years, PTT may further deepen cooperation with China Post in the channels, products and service of cross-border e-commerce, and jointly expand their e-commerce business.
