On June 24, Chairman Liu Aili of China Post Group Corporation Limited (China Post Group) met with Chairman Assel Zhanassova of Kazpost and her entourage at the headquarters of China Post Group. They had an in-depth discussion on further deepening pragmatic cooperation between the two parties and promoting the postal development of the two countries, and also witnessed the signing of a bilateral business agreement.
Liu Aili extended a warm welcome to Assel Zhanassova and her entourage and introduced the reform and development of China Post in recent years. He stated, China Post and Kazpost have been maintaining deep cooperation for a long time, boasting substantially growing bilateral postal services and enormous potential for cooperation and development. He hopes that the two Posts may strengthen direct contact and expand cooperation in transit business. Under the same conditions, China Post will give preference to Kazpost as a mail transit point in Central Asia. At the same time, China Post is willing to cooperate closely with Kazpost and welcomes Kazpost to further develop its China-bound business. He expects that the two Posts will leverage their respective strengths and carry out closer and more extensive cooperation.
Assel Zhanassova stated, the commercial and logistics industries in China are developing rapidly, which has provided great opportunities for cooperation between the two Posts. Kazpost is the only logistics transit service provider that has established warehouses on the border between China and Kazakhstan, so she hopes that China Post will take Kazakhstan as a mail transit point in Central Asia, and Kazpost will make every effort to provide corresponding venues and necessary equipment. Kazpost is currently committed to transforming from a traditional postal service provider to a comprehensive service provider, thereby hoping to learn from China Post its experience in e-commerce and sorting center development, and participate in the international business cooperation of China Post.
After the meeting, executives of both sides jointly witnessed the signing of a new e-Packet cooperation agreement between China Post and Kazpost. Under the new cooperation agreement, the two parties will integrate their prime resources, and cooperate directly and closely to foster high-quality products with more competitive prices, clearer quality goals and more market-oriented service commitment, for the cross-border e-commerce market of both countries.
