On July 3, Guangdong Postal Branch successfully launched the Sino-Euro trucking service from Guandong to Europe. The first truck, carrying 462 cases of goods with a total weight of 10.2 tonnes, set off for Europe through the Belt and Road countries and was expected to arrive in France in 17 to 19 days.

The Sino-Euro trucking service is a cross-border land transportation project jointly developed and promoted by Guangdong Postal Branch and the Chinese e-commerce platform Pinduoduo. Through this project, Guangdong Postal Branch has established a direct land transportation channel into Europe to enable the independent control over its European land transportation operations. When the partnership with the platform becomes mature and stable, a daily average of 20 trucks are expected to be dispatched. Additionally, the project will further advance customs clearance at the destination port and last mile delivery. Furthermore, the model of this project can be leveraged to develop products on stable and premium routes, thus facilitating the high-quality development of international business.
