On July 10, the British magazine The Banker published the list of the Top 1000 World Banks 2024. The Postal Savings Bank of China (hereinafter referred to as PSBC) ranked 12th two years in a row with a tier one capital of 133.089 billion US dollars by the end of 2023. Up to now, it has remained among the top 20 world banks for four consecutive years.

Since 1970, The Banker has been releasing the rankings of the Top 1000 World Banks every year. It ranks the banks around the world based on their tier one capital and other key indicators so as to reflect the changes in their strength. According to the ranking of its tier one capital in 2024, PSBC has leapfrogged 51 places from 63rd in 2014, when it joined in the rankings for the first time.

In the Top 1000 World Banks 2024 rankings, PSBC is the bank with the largest increase in tier one capital among the top 20 banks. It is also the bank with the highest asset quality among the top 10 Chinese banks.
