China Post launches Khorgos-based dedicated route for Kazakhstan-bound ePacket service
|China Post News|2024-07-23

On July 19, China Post officially launched a dedicated route for Kazakhstan-bound ePacket service from Khorgos port. Mail items on this route start their journey from inland postal warehouses, leave China through the Khorgos port, and are finally delivered to customers in Kazakhstan. The whole journey takes a minimum of 10 days, and the outbound items are mainly clothing, shoes, hats, electronic products and daily necessities.

As a tripartite collaboration among China Post, KazPost, and the global logistics operator Cainiao, this route not only contributes to the development of the e-commerce market in China and Kazakhstan, but also helps strengthen the economic ties between the two countries, breaking new ground for businesses and consumers.

In cooperation with Khorgos Land Port International Logistics Co. Ltd., Xinjiang Postal Branch has built integrated regulatory premises for international mail, international express and cross-border e-commerce, and strived to make achievements in constructing international channels, integrating port resources and improving service quality, so as to boost the high-quality development of commerce and logistics and the prosperity of international trade in Xinjiang, and make greater contributions to the development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
