|China Post News|2024-08-16

On August 13, China Post Group Corporation Limited (China Post Group) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Gansu provincial government in Lanzhou. Governor Ren Zhenhe of Gansu province held a work meeting with Chairman Liu Aili of China Post Group and his entourage, and witnessed the signing of the agreement.

Ren Zhenhe welcomed Liu Aili and his entourage to Gansu to discuss cooperation, and expressed his gratitude to China Post Group for its long-term strong support for the development of Gansu. He hopes that both sides can promote complementarity and achieve win-win cooperation in hub economy, modern logistics, cultural tourism, finance and credit and other areas. Gansu province will make every effort to implement the cooperation agreement, provide good services and support, and create favorable conditions for the development of China Post Group in Gansu.

Liu Aili introduced the general situation of China Post Group in its reform and development in recent years. He stated, as a centrally administered State-owned enterprise, China Post Group has fully leveraged its resource advantages, and focused on overcoming the three key difficulties of rural areas in logistics, sales and financing. It has vigorously served the real economy through its financial services, leveraged its advantages in express and logistics to bring agricultural products to urban consumers, and played an active role in ensuring sufficient supply and open and smooth logistics services, and supporting the development of local cultural and tourism industry. Liu Aili hopes to establish a cooperation model between public transportation and postal services in Gansu province through cooperation agreements for systematically promoting the integration of passenger, freight and mail transportation services, thus facilitating the transportation of agricultural products to cities, and making greater contributions to the high-quality economic and social development in Gansu province.

According to the agreement, both sides will cooperate in driving postal finance to serve local economy, rural revitalization, postal infrastructure construction, improvement of public service capabilities and high-quality development of cultural industry. Both sides agreed to form a joint working group, establish a long-term working mechanism, and engage in exchanges and consultations on an irregular basis, so as to promote postal services to better serve the economic and social development of Gansu province.
