On August 16, China Post opened the Fuzhou-Osaka air cargo and mail route. This route is operated by B737-800F on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, three flights a week.
The Fuzhou-Osaka air route is the seventh Osaka-bound international air route on the independent aviation network of China Post, following those from Shanghai Pudong, Shenzhen, Dalian, Nanjing, Yiwu and Wenzhou. Together with the previous Tokyo-bound air routes from Shanghai Pudong, Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Shijiazhuang and Wenzhou, China Post now boasts 12 air cargo and mail routes to Japan.
Since the beginning of this year, Fuzhou has focused on building itself into a strategic fulcrum for modern logistics, effectively exerted its role as a national comprehensive freight hub in the project of replenishing and reinforcing industrial and supply chains, supported enterprises to explore overseas emerging market, and promoted cross-border e-commerce development. After the opening of the Fuzhou-Osaka route, it will form superimposed advantages with other air cargo and mail routes to Japan, effectively stabilize the time limit of Japan-bound mail items, especially cross-border e-commerce items, sent from major cities in China, and further strengthen the competitive edge of the international parcel, express and logistics business of China Post, thereby providing strong support for the smooth “dual circulation” of domestic and international markets.
