Postal employees are serving journalists from different countries and regions in the temporary post office

The 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) is held in Beijing from September 4 to 6. It is the largest diplomatic event hosted by China in recent years, with the highest attendance of foreign leaders. During the summit, Beijing Postal Branch has set up a temporary post office for the summit, providing postal services at the venue.

In the post office, an area is set apart for selling philatelic products, making it easier for journalists to purchase such philatelic and cultural products. Additionally, there is also a postmark experience area, where visitors themselves can apply postmarks for collection.

In terms of philatelic products, China Post has issued a locality cover, a stamp folder and a stamp album specially designed for the 2024 FOCAC Summit.

To better serve the international guests, six volunteers who are fluent in English, French and Spanish have joined the temporary post office team. They assist the postal employees in introducing the products, so as to improve the international service level of the post office.
