On September 14, during the 2024 CIFTIS (China International Fair for Trade in Services) Achievements Release Event, China Postal Express & Logistics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Postal Express & Logistics) and China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Sinotruk) jointly launched the intelligent logistics park project for heavy-duty truck manufacturing and held an achievement release ceremony at the same time.

The intelligent logistics park project released this time deeply integrates China Post’s express and logistics services into Sinotruk’s supply chain, enabling the precise docking of inbound logistics. In Sinotruk’s production and distribution base in Laiwu district of Jinan, Shandong province, which covers an area of 343 mu (22.9 hectares) and has a total floor area of 108,000 square meters, China Postal Express & Logistics has actively integrated itself into the industrial chain and intelligent manufacturing chain. It has engaged in building the heavy-duty truck intelligent logistics park, to support the production of Sinotruk. With intelligent and digital logistics solutions, such a park has effectively shortened the distance between the production and consumer end, improved logistics efficiency and supply chain resilience, and provided more efficient, flexible and reliable logistics service for manufacturing enterprises.

The two parties have started cooperation since 2010, when China Postal Express & Logistics simply provided transportation service at the initial stage. Gradually, it has integrated into the production system of Sinotruk, providing Milk Run, VMI, JIT, in-plant transportation and other services for front-end manufacturing processes. Nowadays, with the investment in digital and intelligent means and intelligent equipment, the two sides have realized Internet-connected, automated, paperless, and visualized cooperation, so that logistics information is shared in real time, logistics resources are accurately allocated, and logistics efficiency and response speed are greatly improved. At the same time, the introduction of services such as auto parts sorting and packing, design and management of logistics equipment, and reusable packaging has further optimized the process of production logistics, reduced the waste of resources, and promoted the development of green logistics.
