China Post Group makes arrangements for Double Eleven peak season

On October 17, China Post Group held a teleconference on the operations and production of the parcel, express and logistics business during the “Double Eleven” peak season in 2024, summarizing the past experiences and practices, analyzing and studying the changes in the situation this year, and making arrangements for the key work of seizing more market share, increasing mail volume and sales revenue and strengthening weaknesses. Wen Shaoqi, vice president of China Post Group, attended the conference and delivered a speech.

Wen Shaoqi called on postal enterprises nationwide to accurately grasp the new changes that the growth rate is expected to increase, livestreaming will be a major growth driver, platforms will require better logistics services, and platforms’ new logistics mode will help reduce merchants’ costs; requiring them to be fully prepared to achieve excellent performance during “Double Eleven” this year.

He stressed that postal enterprises nationwide should go all out to ensure operations and production of the “Double Eleven” peak season. They should pool all efforts to strengthen marketing, and ensure comprehensive breakthroughs in customer development by focusing on its overall promotion and making every effort to maximize policy measures, follow the pace and improve the platform index. They should efficiently coordinate to strengthen management, and focus on the goals of smooth operation and stable delivery time to accelerate replenishing capacity, increase transport capacity reserve, strengthen management of outsourcing, implement precise scheduling, and ensure the stable operation of the information system and equipment. They should always serve from customers’ perspective to guarantee customer experience through smooth access to customer service, responsive solutions to complaints, effective rectification of the anomalies in problematic departments and solid inspection of duty performance.

At the conference, the Parcel, Express and Logistics Business Unit of China Post Group made plans and arrangements for business development, operation organization and service support. Zhejiang Postal Branch and Guangdong Postal Branch shared their experiences.
