On October 20, the second CATA Aviation Conference on the theme of “Smart Aviation Innovating Our Future” was held at Shougang International Exhibition & Convention Center in Beijing. China Postal Airlines participated in the conference, and its pilot Wang Yunzhen was honored with the title of “Excellent Captain” by the China Air Transport Association (CATA). Hu Zhenjiang, deputy administrator of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, visited the booth of China Postal Airlines, viewed its development achievements and listened to the report of China Postal Airlines on the operation of the large wide-body freighter B777F and the “Nanjing-Luxembourg” intercontinental air route.

In the exhibition, China Postal Airlines focused on four aspects including “construction of safety management system”, “bearing in mind fundamental national interests and assisting rural revitalization”, “layout of intercontinental air routes and aviation network and hubs of China Postal Airlines”, and “green aviation and low altitude economy”, and comprehensively presented the achievements China Postal Airlines had made in recent years in supporting China’s dual circulation strategy, establishing independent, controllable, safe and reliable industrial and supply chains and international air logistics network, accelerating the construction of smart civil aviation and continuously enhancing the capabilities of ensuring safe operation, as well as its vision in the development of air cargo hubs.

Wang Yunzhen, the Excellent Captain, currently works at China Postal Airlines Nanjing Branch. Since joining China Postal Airlines in July, 2009, he has flown safely for nearly 9,000 hours and has been bestowed “Safety Star”, “Outstanding Employee” and other awards for several times.
