On November 5, the seventh China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as CIIE) opened in Shanghai. China Post was invited to the CIIE as an exhibitor for the first time, showcasing its international business products such as China Postal Warehousing Service and its advantageous dedicated routes on the theme of “Inbound and Outbound Services Jointly Leads the New Future of Cross-border Trade”. China Post has set up a theme post office and a temporary post office in the exhibition hall to meet the comprehensive needs of institutions and exhibitors for postal services.

Shanghai Postal Branch has launched a monochromatic promotional postage meter stamp and issued a commemorative envelope for the seventh CIIE, both of which are highly collectable. On the opening day of the CIIE, philatelists flooded into Xujing Post Office, the nearest one to the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, early in the morning to buy commemorative envelopes and apply promotional meter stamps, leaving a memory of the CIIE in a unique way. The theme post office and the temporary post office of the CIIE, as well as the service points in the office buildings B, C and D, provide services such as mail service and CIIE datemark stamping service, and special cultural and creative products such as CIIE commemorative envelopes, badges and postcards featuring dolls of different Chinese ethnic group figures, and the “Journey to the West” stamp album inspired by the game “Black Myth: Wukong”.

Shanghai Postal Branch has allocated five trolleys to each of the service points for customers to transport their items, and provided accurate mail collection service for exhibitors and participants. In addition, during the peak of the move-out period, it stationed at the exhibition hall to provide check, packaging and transport services.

It is reported that China Post, as a main support enterprise and the designated mail service provider of the seventh CIIE, continues to undertake the delivery service of CIIE certificates this year. Shanghai Postal Branch has selected 30 competent staff members to form a special service team for the CIIE, providing a package of services from data receiving, printing, prepackaging to mail acceptance, shipping and dispatching. On October 30, it successfully completed the delivery of all certificates.
