On December 5, the second China environmental, social and governance (ESG) model event organized by China Media Group was held in Beijing. China Post Group Corporation Limited and seven other enterprises were named as China ESG models. They shared their outstanding ESG practices at the event, interpreting the way of leading a sustainable future by being responsible role models.

To promote Chinese enterprises to better fulfill their social responsibilities and inject fresh impetus into global economic growth, China Media Group Business Center, joining hands with the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Think Tank for Research on State-owned Economy of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China Enterprise Reform and Development Society and other authorities, has held the annual China ESG model event for two years in a row. With “growth” as its core theme, this year’s event showcased the thriving dynamism of the current ESG ecosystem in the context of China’s high-quality economic development and the multidimensional changes and progress of Chinese enterprises in the field of ESG, aiming to guide the enterprises to enhance their ESG levels through role models, tell the world the lively stories in the process of Chinese modernization, and present the outstanding practices of China ESG model enterprises. The event unveiled eight cases of China ESG models in the year 2024. Heads from the eight enterprises illustrated their cases, and demonstrated the advancement and development of ESG by Chinese enterprises with their own vivid practices.
