China Post unveils new unified internal portal

Recently, the first functions of China Post’s unified mobile portal (hereinafter referred to as “the new portal”) have successfully gone live. Through trial operation, assigning experience officers, establishing an experience liaison mechanism and other approaches, the user experience of the new portal has been continuously improved. It indicates that China Post Group Corporation Limited has made phased achievements in the touchpoint integration and experience enhancement action of its internal service.

Oriented to all postal employees, the new portal provides a unified access platform that enables a single point of access to business systems such as intensive management, operations management and production management, so as to provide one-stop service and consistent experience, hence minimized operations.

The first functions of the new portal feature four main highlights. First, one-stop access to the systems. The new portal effectively integrates information resources through unified identity authentication, and allows users to obtain the information they need from a single point of access, thus greatly saving time in finding and processing information. Second, one-stop processing of to-do list. The new portal enables centralized display and rapid classification retrieval of key tasks. It allows users to handle OA tasks, reimbursement, engineering procurement and more on a single platform, thereby speeding up business processing. Third, the increasingly refined user experience. The new portal offers a clearer and more concise user interface, a dedicated large font page view and a service application interface that supports personalized editing, thus facilitating more agile operation and display. Fourth, the improved intelligent capacity. With the introduction of large model technology, the new portal enables employees to conduct dialogues with the AI assistant and get relevant information of the industry, business norms and management regulations, thereby further improving the capabilities of intelligence-assisted office.
