Ma Yongqiang is delivery business management clerk of Yibin Postal Branch in Sichuan.

Ma Yongqiang has been included in the talent pool of the Ministry of Transport, and has won more than 70 honorary titles such as National High-skilled Talent, National Technical Expert, Model Worker in Sichuan province and Sichuan Craftsman.

Over the past 26 years, he has provided customers with tens of thousands of door-to-door convenience services, earning himself a widely acknowledged nickname, the “living map”. He serves the local armed police force enthusiastically, with more than 4,000 pieces of mail addressed to him and forwarded to the recruits, fully demonstrating the close bond between the military and civilians. He has planned public welfare activities such as caring for left-behind children, model workers, and sanitation workers, and donated more than 6,000 care packages to them.

While providing heartfelt service to customers, Ma Yongqiang also studies technology and skills diligently. In order to reduce the incidence of undeliverable mail, Ma Yongqiang has innovated a seven-step inquiry and delivery method for difficult mail, created a quick and efficient stamp-affixing technique with drifting movement, compiled a delivery operation manual, and mastered a newspaper counting method with five fingers. He has proposed 32 minor technical innovations and inventions, all of which have generated substantial benefits for the development of the enterprise.
