Wang Xiaohui is the vice leader of No. 1 Boeing Squadron in the Flight Department of China Postal Airlines, a flight instructor, proficient flight inspector, and designated representative for civil aviation flight inspection.

In his nearly 20 years of service at China Postal Airlines, he has always adhered to the work ethics of holding life, regulations and duties in awe, cherished a profound sense of responsibility that never lets him rest easy, and made every effort to ensure the safe, stable, and controllable operation of the flights.

In his daily work, Wang Xiaohui devotes himself to studying flight theories and continuously enhancing his flight skills. He always regards flight safety as the top priority and strictly implements the flight safety regulations and standards in every single flight mission.

On the eve of the Spring Festival in 2020, when the COVID-19 epidemic broke out, Wang Xiaohui was the first to take the initiative to join the “battle” of transporting anti-epidemic materials. From the first emergency charter flight to transport epidemic prevention materials to Wuhan, to the opening of the second life rescue channel in Yichang, and then to the smooth operation of the northeast air cargo route in Manzhouli, he successively filled two gaps in China Postal Airlines’ air cargo routes. During that period, he completed a total of 16 significant flight missions, successively transporting high-risk and crucial materials including COVID-19 virus strains, stem cells, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) machines and ventilators, and transferring epidemic prevention supplies from over 10 countries and regions including Belarus, the Netherlands and Germany, all of which made him the captain with the largest number of missions executed. It is these countless instances of heading in harm’s way that have contributed to the chapter of China Post in securing the comprehensive victory in COVOD-19 prevention and control.

Over the years, Wang Xiaohui has always remained at the forefront of the “flight school” of China Postal Airlines, performing teaching and inspection in person, and has cultivated a large number of outstanding flight talents to satisfy the operational needs of China Postal Airlines.
