Different from conventional delivery vehicles, the unmanned delivery vehicles deployed in this initial phase feature large capacity and high efficiency. The compartment, occupying most part of the whole body, has a loading capacity of three cubic meters and can carry up to 500 kg of express items at one time. Moreover, these vehicles boast a maximum speed of 20 km per hour and a range of 100 km on a full charge. Each vehicle is equipped with an advanced Level 4 autonomous driving technology. The indoor and outdoor high-precision positioning can be switched seamlessly through multi-sensor deep fusion perception technology. And a 360-degree unobstructed perception system can be constructed through LiDAR, cameras, and millimeter-wave radar for precise identification of road conditions. Such architecture makes it possible to ensure safe operation as well as timely delivery.
