Yancheng cross-border e-commerce operation center established by Yancheng Postal Branch was put into operation at the beginning of 2025, creating a new service model integrating customs clearance, logistics and warehousing. In the process of customs declaration, it has assigned a specialized team to provide overall green customs clearance service, reducing the average time for customs clearance by 2.5 hours. In terms of logistics transportation, it integrates the resources of maritime and air transportation and overseas warehousing of China Post to offer customized solutions according to the needs of enterprises. Yancheng Joy Foundation Cultural Creativity Co Ltd, the largest among the first batch of enterprises that have signed contracts, has shipped over 30 tonnes of goods via the international business of Yancheng Postal Branch.

Located in the only provincial-level cross-border e-commerce industrial park in Yancheng, Jiangsu, this center relies on the professional capabilities of China Post’s international logistics to provides one-stop cross-border logistics services for enterprises in surrounding areas. To support the development of the project, the municipal government of Yancheng has granted nearly 300 square meters of facility to the center, which mainly serves 56 companies engaging in import and export of plush toys, glass products and accessories in the park. The center integrates the entire process of services including customs declaration, quality inspection, warehousing, packing and dispatching, effectively addressing the pain point of the dispersed links of cross-border logistics.

Yancheng cross-border e-commerce operation center has strengthened service innovation and developed differentiated service solutions tailored to the characteristics of different industries. It provides professional shockproof packaging and temperature-controlled storage for enterprises sending fragile goods, opens a green channel for enterprises requiring time efficiency, and provides intensive logistics services for small and medium-sized enterprises. Since the beginning of this year, Yancheng Postal Branch has signed cooperation agreements with six export-oriented enterprises relying on the center, and is expected to generate an annual revenue of four million yuan (about 548,870 US dollars).
