|China Post|2025-04-17

On April 15, China Post Group Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as China Post) and Yili Group (hereinafter referred to as Yili) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Chairman Liu Aili of China Post and Chairman Pan Gang of Yili held a working meeting on deepening strategic cooperation and jointly witnessed the signing of the agreement.

Liu Aili noted, Yili’s outstanding achievements and sustained growth in the dairy industry derive from its commitment to product R&D and technical professionalism. He highly praised the admirable achievements and international honors Yili had secured in technological innovation, intelligent development, and market operations and management. He added, as the “national team” of the postal industry, China Post boasts a comprehensive service network with post offices established in all townships and postal services reaching all administrative villages in China. In recent years, it has leveraged its resource advantages of integrated flows of commodity, logistics, capital and information and played an active role in serving new types of agribusinesses, developing farm produce bases, supporting rural revitalization strategy and advancing the development of the county-level commercial system. Liu also hopes that the strategic synergy and complementary advantages of both parties can help Yili enhance its brand awareness, reduce logistics costs, and achieve higher-quality development. With their joint efforts, both parties will make positive contributions to driving consumption, expanding domestic demand and unleashing market potential and vitality.

Pan Gang emphasized, the signing of the agreement indicates that Yili and China Post will conduct in-depth cooperation across broader areas, and achieve resource sharing, complementary advantages and mutual benefits for win-win development. With China Post’s strengths in logistics and e-commerce, premium dairy products and services will be delivered to urban and rural residents more rapidly, thereby significantly improving consumer experience. Additionally, the financial support provided by the Postal Savings Bank of China will facilitate efficient coordination among the upstream and downstream partners on Yili’s industrial chain, driving high-quality growth in the dairy industry. The cooperation between the two sides will undoubtedly generate synergy in branding and marketing, boost consumption and expand domestic demand.

Under the agreement, the two parties will focus on in-depth cooperation in banking, insurance, securities and other financial services, as well as in market expansion, express and logistics services, and brand promotion. Meanwhile, they will establish a multi-level and regular communication mechanism, designate liaison departments, and jointly set up a dedicated working team to ensure the smooth implementation of specific cooperation projects.
