Postal workers of Guizhou Nayong Postal Branch are loading outbound items onto a new energy vehicle. |
Since 2024, Guizhou Nayong Postal Branch has vigorously implemented its rural logistics system upgrading project, and smoothed last-mile express delivery services in two ways. On the one hand, the postal branch has advanced standardized construction of service stations at village level. It has established comprehensive convenience service stations across 26 townships and subdistricts, and upgraded a total of 354 village-level service stations. On the other hand, it has deployed 30 new energy delivery vehicles to boost the coverage of same-day delivery service. With the newly equipped vehicles, the rural mail collection and delivery frequency has increased from three times a week to five times a week, with the rate of same-day delivery to villages reaching over 50 percent. And mail items to remote townships are all delivered by noon the next day at the latest.
