China Post opens Guangzhou-Luxembourg intercontinental air cargo route
|China Post News|2025-07-28

On July 25, China Post opened its intercontinental air cargo route from Guangzhou to Luxembourg. An aircraft of China Postal Airlines, fully loaded with high-value-added cross-border e-commerce goods, high-end industrial products of intelligent manufacturing in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Europe-bound mail items, landed safely at Luxembourg Airport.

This route is the third intercontinental air cargo route opened by China Post, following those from Nanjing to Luxembourg and Zhengzhou to Luxembourg. These three long-haul routes, all with a flight duration within 13 hours, can transport the mail and goods consolidated in Nanjing, Zhengzhou and Guangzhou on the same day to Luxembourg, the major European freight and logistics hub, and enable fast access to Germany, France, Belgium and other European countries. Hence, China Post fulfilled the goal of the “1-2-3 logistics range” (1-day domestic delivery, 2-day delivery to neighboring countries, and 3-day delivery to major cities around the world) proposed in the guidelines on developing national comprehensive transport network. Eventually, these routes can provide stable and efficient intercontinental transportation capacity for clients in the Yangtze River Delta, the Central Plains and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and render higher-quality services to global industrial and supply chains.
