On August 22, China Post officially launched an international air cargo and mail route from Fuzhou, Fujian province, to Manila, the Philippines. The route operates two flights a week, on Fridays and Sundays.

After its opening, the route can satisfy the demands of cross-border e-commerce goods with small quantities from Fuzhou and its surrounding areas for frequent and timely transport, thereby boosting the global reach of products made in Fujian and injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the regional economy. Moreover, as Fuzhou is a node city on China Post’s independent air network, this route will further improve the timeliness of international mail between major cities in China and Southeast Asian countries.
