|China Post|2025-09-18

On September 16, China Post Group Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as China Post) and the Agricultural Development Bank of China (hereinafter referred to as ADBC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the headquarters of China Post in Beijing. Chairman Liu Aili and President Zheng Guoyu of China Post and Chairman Zhan Dongsheng and President Zhang Xiaodong of ADBC held a working talk and witnessed the signing of the agreement.

Liu Aili introduced the development of China Post’s major business segments. He hopes that both sides will take the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement as a new starting point to further deepen comprehensive financial collaboration in banking, especially retail banking, insurance, securities and other fields. Both parties will facilitate the sustainable development of rural economy and integrated urban and rural development by focusing on whole-industry-chain services of agricultural products from cultivation, processing to sales, and logistics models such as county-wide cold-chain logistics and integrated rural transport plus logistics. Additionally, they will strengthen cooperation in areas such as parcel, express and logistics, rural e-commerce, publicity and staff benefits, and make positive contributions to comprehensive rural revitalization.

Zhan Dongsheng pointed out, China Post, as the “national team” of the postal industry, has demonstrated the fulfillment of responsibilities as a centrally administered state-owned enterprise in such aspects as supporting comprehensive rural revitalization, promoting equal access to basic public services and building a modern logistics system. He hopes that both sides will take this strategic cooperation as an opportunity to fully leverage their respective resource strengths and make contributions to serving the development of agriculture, rural areas and farmers, consolidating poverty alleviation achievements and driving agricultural and rural modernization.

According to the agreement, both parties will carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in areas including finance, parcel, express and logistics as well as brand promotion to provide the public with higher-quality and more convenient products and services.
