The Commemorative envelope “Commemoration Day of Taiwan’s Restoration”

On October 25, a commemorative envelope entitled Commemoration Day of Taiwan’s Restoration was issued. This envelope was issued by China National Philatelic Company Limited under the supervision of the Taiwan Work Office of the CPC Central Committee, to which a personalized stamp Great Wall is attached, and a commemorative postmark applied.

October 25 is designated as the Commemoration Day of Taiwan’s Restoration and commemorative activities in various forms are organized on this day, according to the decision adopted at the 18th session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress. The designation of the Commemoration Day of Taiwan’s Restoration is conducive to underscoring the indisputable fact that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China, and consolidating the international community’s adherence to the one-China principle. It will guide compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait in inheriting and promoting the great spirit of resisting aggression, and inspire all Chinese people to unite in striving for national reunification and rejuvenation.
