At 12:29 on October 16, a B737-800 all-cargo aircraft operated by China Postal Airlines departed from Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport, and safely landed at Osaka International Airport in Japan at 14:58. This marks the official launch of China post’s Shijiazhuang-Osaka international air cargo and mail route. This route operates three flights per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and is expected to increase flight frequency in the future based on demand.

This is the second Japan-bound international air route China Post has launched from Shijiazhuang, following the Shijiazhuang-Tokyo air route opened on November 7, 2023. Continuously increasing investment in transportation capacity in Shijiazhuang is a concrete measure China Post has taken to support Hebei province to enhance its logistics strength. This route will further reduce the time limit for Japan-bound mail items from Hebei Postal Branch, and boost the international competitiveness of air logistics of Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport, thereby helping Hebei province accelerate its pace of high-level opening up.
