Recently, Henan province unveiled its 10 key initiatives related to people’s livelihood in 2026, among which was the project of enhancing the quality and efficiency of rural roads and integrated services of passenger, goods and mail transportation.

The CPC Henan Provincial Committee and the Henan provincial government have decided to continue addressing problems of the greatest, most immediate and most practical concern to the people across the province, concentrate their efforts on accomplishing a range of livelihood initiatives affecting people’s immediate interests, and ensure that the achievements of reform and development benefit the general public in a more substantial and equitable way in 2026. According to a work plan for key livelihood initiatives in Henan province, the main task of enhancing the quality and efficiency of logistics and distribution services with integrated passenger, goods and mail transportation is to comprehensively launch an action to expand the scope and improve the quality of the integrated development of passenger, goods and mail transportation services. Throughout the year of 2026, over 50 county-level public distribution centers, more than 1,000 township-level public distribution service stations and over 30,000 village-level comprehensive logistics service points will be newly established or renovated. By the end of the year, three-tier logistics system and village-bound express services will have basically covered all counties, townships and eligible administrative villages in the province.

To effectively implement this livelihood initiative, Henan Postal Branch has formulated a work plan for the expansion and improvement of the integrated development of passenger, goods and mail transportation services in rural areas across the province. Through a series of measures, including strengthening the construction of the three-tier logistics system, enhancing rural delivery and distribution capabilities and innovating a “passenger, goods and mail transportation plus” model, Henan Postal Branch will constantly improve the service capacity of the rural delivery and logistics network, thereby providing strong support for rural revitalization and equal access to basic public services in Henan.
