Yin Yong is the postmaster of Guiren Post Office in Jiangsu Sihong Postal Branch.

As a deputy to the National People’s Congress (NPC) from the grassroots of China Post, Yin Yong stayed at his position of grassroots governance in 2025. Entrusted by the local town government and court, he gave play to his credibility to successfully mediate 12 disputes involving land contracting, marriage and family issues as well as private lending. He meticulously reviewed the details of a long-standing unsettled land contracting dispute and helped both parties reach settlement on the spot. He visited four families for eight times and finally resolved their family troubles with his sincerity.

In the new year, Yin Yong has sorted out people’s livelihood concerns he had collected during daily performance of his duties into six major proposals. He will put forward these proposals covering such aspects as increasing the basic pension distribution standards for rural residents, strengthening food safety supervision and enhancing online information regulation.
