On June 18, the 2026 “Big Market for All: Export to China” – “ASEAN Fruits Gather in Guangxi” initiative kicked off at Nanning International Railway Port. Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region Wei Tao, Ambassador of Vietnam to China Pham Thanh Binh, Ambassador of Timor-Leste to China Maubere Lorosae da Silva Horta, and Chairman of China Post Group Corporation Limited Liu Aili attended the launch ceremony and delivered speeches.
As the “national team” in the express and logistics sector, China Post conscientiously fulfills its responsibilities as a centrally administered State-owned enterprise to support China’s new “dual circulation” development paradigm and help address the difficulties of sales and logistics confronted by the new types of agribusiness, said Liu Aili. China Post has fully launched the construction of an ASEAN-oriented regional international postal express hub. It has completed the deployment of the integrated expedited customs clearance, cross-border express and logistics and RMB settlement, as well as a comprehensive service plan featuring “one policy for one product” for ASEAN fruits. China Post has organized special livestreaming sessions for ASEAN fruits across 10 provinces, and rolled out nationwide livestreaming and region-wide sales campaigns across 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China. Eventually, it has brought the ASEAN fruits border market to traceability livestreaming rooms and the ASEAN special zone on ule.com to boost their sales nationwide, thereby turning its service of the ASEAN fruit trade into a benchmark project of China Post’s cold chain warehousing and logistics system.
On the theme “Sell ASEAN Fruits Across China”, Guangxi Postal Branch and PSBC Guangxi Branch have collaboratively rolled out a special initiative to fully serve the ASEAN fruit trade. To strengthen the cold chain logistics hub, they invested 385 million yuan (about 56.7 million US dollars) to build a new Nanning Mail Center and set up front warehouses in Nanning and Chongzuo. Leveraging the cargo aircraft, refrigerated vehicles, dedicated cold chain routes and cold storage facilities of China Post, they have innovated cross-border multimodal transport, cutting transport time by two to three days. They have established two-way production and sales channels, deeply participated in developing an online trading center, and offered dedicated financing and logistics discounts. They have built an offline-to-online production and sales connection platform and formed a two-way logistics network. They provided exclusive financing services for the ASEAN fruit industry chain and offered special interest rate incentives, to empower traders along the industrial chain throughout the full cycle. They provided secure, convenient and diversified corporate settlement services for all ASEAN fruit trading firms. They enabled AESAN fruits to enjoy “direct shipment from origins and direct release at gateways” based on the integrated customs clearance for international mail, international commercial express and cross-border e-commerce items at the Nanning Mail Center, the customs clearance “white list” policy, as well as EMS fresh delivery service discount. They have issued a total of 5 million yuan (about 0.7 million US dollars) worth of fruit coupons on ASEAN special zone at ule.com to stimulate market vitality. They have developed four main consumption scenarios and carried out origin traceability, themed livestreams as well as production and sales matching activities. Relying on postal outlets, they have also brought customs declaration service to orchard bases, enabling export fruits to enjoy “declaration at origins and instant clearance at gateways”.
