On June 30, China Post officially launched the Guangzhou-Bangkok international air cargo route, adding an efficient air logistics channel between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the pivotal hub of Southeast Asia.
This route is operated by a B737-800F all-cargo freighter, with one flight every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The outbound flight departs from Guangzhou at 11:00 am and arrives in Bangkok, Thailand, at 13:50; the return flight departs at 14:50 and lands back in Guangzhou at 17:35, enabling a same-day round trip between the Greater Bay Area and the pivotal hub of Southeast Asia.
As is reported, the inaugural flight was loaded with high-quality Guangdong-made products, mainly consisting of precision molds and apparatus as well as cross-border e-commerce commodities such as apparel, accessories and household goods, to meet the daily restocking needs of sellers on platforms like Lazada and Shopee. The return flight carried fresh cold-chain products from Thailand including durians and seafood, thus building a high-quality, standardized air corridor for China-Thailand agricultural product trade.
