As of July 19, Suzhou Postal Branch in Jiangsu province generated over 460 million yuan (about 68.14 million US dollars) in international business revenue, representing a year-on-year growth of nearly 83.4 percent, ranking first among all municipal postal branches in Jiangsu province.
In response to market fluctuations in the U.S., Suzhou Postal Branch innovatively launched the “e-Courier” product with T01/T11 customs clearance capabilities, alongside supporting “standardized plus customized” service solutions. This initiative precisely catered to the diverse needs of local export-oriented enterprises, and increased the proportion of commercial channel revenue to 51.1 percent. Besides, it facilitated the optimization of the business structure, enhanced customer stickiness and increased market share. Suzhou Postal Branch also actively developed the “Suzhou–Russia” land transportation channel, and completed the construction of operation sites and supporting facilities. Focusing on the market of light and small items under 500 grams, it acquired 46 clients for Russia-bound shipments in the first half of this year. At the same time, Suzhou Postal Branch accelerated the “Nanjing–Tashkent” charter flight project. It precisely developed market-oriented customized products after in-depth market research and customer demand analysis, and further improved the layout of the international business network relying on the high-quality air route resources, thus continuously enhancing its service capabilities and market competitiveness.
