On September 28, China Post Group Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as China Post Group) and People’s Daily signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. President Yu Shaoliang of People’s Daily and Chairman Liu Aili of China Post Group held a working meeting and witnessed the signing of the agreement.

During the meeting, both parties reviewed the achievements of their long-standing cooperation. They agreed that, aligning itself with the functions and positioning assigned by the CPC Central Committee, China Post has shouldered its responsibilities proactively and taken positive actions to facilitate equal access to basic public services and support comprehensive rural revitalization, and has made every effort to serve the overall work of the Party and the country. As the official newspaper of the CPC Central Committee, People’s Daily is an important publicity vehicle of the Party. Over the years, China Post and People’s Daily have conducted productive cooperation in newspapers and periodicals distribution, publicity and other fields. Both parties hope to advance their cooperation to a new level.

According to the agreement, both parties will strengthen cooperation in areas such as newspapers and periodicals distribution, brand communication, information collaboration, financial services, express delivery and logistics services as well as efforts to serve rural revitalization. They will set up a sound working communication and coordination mechanism to jointly secure effective implementation and tangible results of their cooperation initiatives.
