China Post decides to issue a set of one commemorative stamp for the 7th National Population Census on November 1, 2020, with a denomination of 1.20 yuan and planned circulation of 6.95 million sets.

The design of the stamp focuses on the logo of the National Population Census in 2020 and the Arabic number "7", while integrating graphics that stand for population and electronic data collection, the set time and other elements of the census, reflecting the concept and the characteristics of this census.

The stamp is designed by Ma Lihang and printed by Shenyang Posts and Telecommunications Printing House of Liaoning Province using offset printing technology (partial embossing). To enrich the content of the stamp, China Post releases its digital information through the WeChat mini program called Encyclopedia of China Philately and Stamps, so that viewers can watch the official promotional video about China’s national population census by scanning the design of the stamp with the AR function of the mini program.
